Academic Skills Coaching

Group of six students studying at a table

Academic Skills Coaching is a one-to-one service for students who want to explore new skills for increased efficiency and effectiveness in their academic efforts. Academic Coaching is strictly skill-based in focus. Going to a consultation is like having your own private workshop on an academic question or issue you are curious about.

Why participate in skill coaching?

Meeting with an academic skill coach can help you develop a greater awareness and understanding of your academic strengths and areas for improvement.

Ready to schedule your coaching session?

You can schedule either an online appointment, or a 30 minute in-person session to meet with a coach and create a personalized action plan to enhance performance and satisfaction in your coursework. Because the Student Academic Success Services (SASS) is part of the counseling center, students are required to wear masks for their in-person coaching appointments.

Schedule your appointment (no walk-in or drop in options at this time) by emailing [email protected] or contacting the SCS front desk.
