Multicultural Center for Academic Excellence (MCAE)

The Multicultural Center for Academic Excellence (MCAE) is a community-based space focused on the academic experiences of first-generation students, students of Color, and American Indian students. MCAE peer tutors work collaboratively with participants to increase students' confidence in their academic material, support students in having a sense of home on-campus, and provide tools to navigate the University of Minnesota. MCAE offers unlimited drop-in and appointment peer tutoring. MCAE tutors provide one-with-one peer tutoring in math, science, writing, languages, and more.
